He learnt his trade in tour operating and the management of international trade delegations before moving to BI, a global event management agency, where he spent 20 formative years before moving to Dubai to launch the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

He returned to the UK agency world undertaking change management programmes before heading up AddingValue's Consulting Practice. He is now Managing Director of JHCP

A qualified marketer Hooker has undertaken assignments in the UK, Pan Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South America helping companies, which have included the Commercial Conference Organisers, DMCs, Event Agencies and Production Houses to improve performance and develop business strategies.

John has a passion for working with people in our global market and a desire for education in order to put something back into the industry by helping to develop the talent of tomorrow.
